LOOKING FOR THE OLD COAT

Looking for the old coat in the closet

I came across the fragrance of your body.

Probably I was wearing it embracing you

in the summer filled with sea waves

and a protective almond in the Eve’s corner

and my dreams about Siberia

because I dreamed something bad from history.

Looking for the old coat

filled with your scents in the closet

where I kept you locked for years

in a small box

however, I did not foresee,

that your rags

could have been handled with metaphors

by the poet Vasko Popa

Also, I did not foresee

a historical wormwhich in its miserable nobility

had eaten your thighs, your aroma

And in my sight

enjoyed the protective almond.

OUT OF HOPELESSNESS

It is not quite so

There will be someone

To put a hand on your shoulder

It is not quite so

Someone will throw a pretty pebble

Into your dead sea

It is not quite so

Someone may be thinking of you

Although you know that you don’t know

It is not quite so

As it already is

As it already truly is.
