With The Least Fear
Today, while I was at work on my own farm,
It was very pleasant all around,
The sparrows chirped,
Doves cooed, cuckoos sang too,
The butterflies hovered very near to me,
The smell of hemp made me drowsy,
I laid my hoe aside in the shade of mulberry tree,
I lay on the grass and I looked in front.
What a pleasure I tasted!
The pleasure unknown to the urban residents.
The sky was very clear,
Deep azure except the southern skyline,
Where emerged clouds, incredibly thick and white,
Merging, converging into themselves,
And shaping, reshaping themselves
They appeared into known images,
Most of them were of the bears,
Small, medium and huge giant- like.
I saw an image of a soldier in uniform,
Standing on the stretched legs
And pointing a gun in the vacancy,
I saw a duck, seemed very alert,
Raised its head and looked at a komodo
That had preyed upon a goat, the half swallowed,
A panda rode the back of a lamb,
A kid-elephant sunk helpless in the mud,
The skyline was the whole glaring world of animals.
In the end I saw two bears, may be a couple,
Stood straight, face to face like humans,
In between were two teddy bears,
They took them jointly in their tight hugs,
With the least fear of corona.
Fathers and mothers
Sons and daughters are at a distance,
There is a distance between husbands and wives,
Friends too observe the distance,
All wreath their smiles with coverings,
And expose fears through the eyes.
Yesterday, I visited my village,
And in the street I met my playmate,
Impulsively I wanted to greet her,
But she passed by with a mask on the face,
Warding me off in fear as if I was a monster,
Or an alien from another planet.
O! My God what a time has encroached,
All human beings stand at a distance,
Like stars in the sky,
Though they seem very near
Yet at the distance of many light years.
Morally ruined lab-workers have enhance their talents,
By stealing the secrets of nature,
They aim at to heap up wealth as the weapon dealers do,
They create conflicts, sell weapons
And then come ahead for their resolutions,
They come ahead as peacemakers,
All is hypocrisy, just for heaping up gold and wealth
And storing the reserves of minerals and oil.
Same like the mentally morally
Ruined diseased wretch lab-workers devised a virus,
Long ago and named it, ‘Corona Virus’,
They purposely made a mild test by spreading in the world,
And it has engendered the results as they wished,
It caused causalities in thousands,
Though they aim at in millions to mitigate population,
Now they are elated on their cursed success.
Long ago God said in the Holy Book,
“They are the cause of turmoil in the world,
If they are impeded, they say they are the peacemakers.”
They have created fear, no one moves without a mask,
The children are frightened of parents,
Families are dispersed in the houses,
A man is at distance from a man,
No one shakes hand nor hugs nor embraces,
The world is now devoid of a gentle touch,
A hug or a caress or a kiss or a pat.
Ah! A doleful dismal world it is,
A catafalque is led without funeral procession,
No one from the dear ones comes to say the final goodbye,
As if the departed is more poisonous than a serpent.
Now the trade of vaccine is in full swing,
Even they grant the buyers cumbersome loans to buy,
Now I see there will be no nuclear war in the world of future,
The powerful will be content in the trade of germs
And they will play in plagues, only, ‘Virus, Virus’.
